South Florida musicians Jill and Rich Switzer are organizing a benefit concert for ailing keyboardist and composer Rick Krive, scheduled for November 9, 2026, at the Boca Black Box Center for the Arts in Boca Raton, Florida. The event aims to raise funds for medical expenses facing Krive, who has worked for over four decades as an arranger, composer, producer, keyboardist, and vocalist, and served as musical director for icons Deana Martin and LuLu.

The showcase takes place at 7 p.m. on November 9, 2026, with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. The Boca Black Box Center for the Arts is located in Piccadilly Square at 8221 Glades Road in Boca Raton, positioned two blocks west of the Turnpike. Ticket prices vary by seating section:
    VIP tickets cost $100 and cover Rows A through C as well as the VIP Lounge. Rows D through F are priced at $85. Rows G through J cost $75. Rows K through P are available for $65.

Public relations representative Gary Schweikhart notes that 100 percent of the proceeds from the concert will directly benefit Krive’s family, including his wife, Dawn Marie, and son Luca. Additional featured performers include Broadway legend and South Florida cabaret performer Avery Sommers, Latin Grammy-winning saxophonist Dr. Ed Calle, vocalist Tomey Sellars, and session musician, guitarist, and vocalist Jeff Taylor. Organizers state that an array of special surprise guests will also join the lineup.
