Bengaluru, Kansas – The family of Atul Subhash, the 34-year-old Bengaluru engineer who tragically took his own life on December 9th, is facing intense scrutiny after a video surfaced showing his brother-in-law aggressively confronting reporters.
subhash’s death has sent shockwaves through the community, especially after he left behind a 90-minute video and a 24-page suicide note detailing alleged harassment from his estranged wife and her family.
In the now-viral video, Subhash’s mother-in-law, Nisha Singhania, and brother-in-law, Anurag Singhania, can be seen shouting at reporters who approached their residence seeking comment. From their balcony, they demanded the reporter turn off his camera, with anurag threatening, “We will come ourselves and answer your questions. If you continue to act like this, it will be wrong.”
Anurag also refused to speak to the media without his lawyers present.
The incident has sparked outrage online, with many criticizing the family’s reaction. The Bengaluru police have as registered an FIR against them under sections 108 and 3(5) of the BNS.
