Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club has announced the signing of experienced all-rounder Benny Howell ⁣ahead‌ of the 2024 T20 Blast​ season. The move‍ is seen as a key step⁣ in the club’s ambition to reach ⁢the quarter-finals ‍for the first time in three seasons.

Head Coach Peter Moores believes Howell’s skillset and experience ⁢will be invaluable to ⁣the team. Howell’s Career Highlights and Recent Performance

Howell, 37, brings‍ a wealth of experience to‍ Trent Bridge,⁤ having spent 11 seasons with Gloucestershire before returning ‍to Hampshire,⁢ his original county,⁤ in 2023. During his three seasons with Gloucestershire, the team reached Blast Finals Day twice, finishing as runners-up in the 2023 season ESPNcricinfo. He is known as a canny white-ball bowler and a useful lower-order batsman.

Nottinghamshire Outlaws ‍have a strong history ‌in the T20 Blast,‍ but have not reached the⁢ quarter-finals as 2021.
