French Star Karim Benzema Leads Al-Ittihad to 7-1 Victory in Saudi Roshan Football League
Karim Benzema, the French star, led his side Al-Ittihad to a resounding 7-1 win over their visitors Al-Wahda in the third round of the Saudi Roshan Football League on Sunday.
Benzema scored three hat-tricks in the second, 46th, and 89th minutes, showcasing his exceptional skills on the field.
Other notable goals for Al-Ittihad were scored by Hossam Ouar in the 13th minute, Fabinho in the third minute of first-half stoppage time, Fawaz Al-Saqor in the 55th minute, and Saleh Al-Shehri in the 87th minute.
Al-Wahda’s only goal was scored by Youssef Amin in the 31st minute, but it was not enough to turn the tide of the game.
With this win, Al-Ittihad increased its score to nine points, topping the competition on goal difference from Al-Hilal and Al-Ittifaq, which occupy second and third place respectively.
On the other hand, Al Wahda’s balance has accumulated four points in eleventh place, leaving them with a lot of work to do to catch up with the leaders.
