The selections, published May 8, 2026, include top-performing models across four primary categories: road, gravel, mountain and electric bikes.

The curated list reflects a broad range of utility and performance levels. The experts noted that the selections encompass a wide spectrum of machinery, ranging from budget-friendly cargo e-bikes to high-end road bikes described as dream models.

The models were chosen based on expert testing and usage throughout the year, with the curators stating that these are the models we didn’t want to stop riding this year.
