“One Battle After Another” Wins Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy
Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy at the 2026 Golden Globes. Producer Sara Murphy accepted the award on behalf of the film, surrounded by its cast.
“Thank you to the Golden Globes voters. This is an incredible honor, and also to be here amongst so many friends and amazing films this year,” Murphy said. “I want to agree with Paul that this has been one of the most incredible filmmaking experiences, once in a lifetime, due largely in part to the person that we share this award with, the late Adam Somner, who we miss every day.”
Somner died of cancer in November 2024.
Murphy also thanked the film’s cast and director Paul Anderson,calling it “a privilege and a pleasure” to work with him.
