Hisense has launched its global campaign marking the 50-day countdown to the FIFA World Cup 2026™, reinforcing its role as a three-time official FIFA World Cup sponsor and unveiling its latest home entertainment innovations designed to elevate the matchday experience for fans worldwide.
The campaign, announced on April 21, 2026, centers on the company’s newest RGB MiniLED television lineup, led by the flagship UR9 Series and the premium UX models. These televisions feature an RGB MiniLED backlight system and the Hi-View AI Engine RGB processor, enabling 100% BT.2020 color coverage with exceptional accuracy and vibrancy.
The UR9 Series delivers a native 180Hz refresh rate and is equipped with a Devialet-tuned 4.1.2 Multi-Channel audio system, providing cinema-grade sound to complement its visual performance. Region-specific panel optimizations include Anti-Reflection & Glare-Free technology for Europe, Australia, and other markets, and an Obsidian Panel tailored for the Americas.
Beyond television technology, Hisense emphasized that its broader home appliance portfolio contributes to a smarter, more connected living environment during match days. The company stated that these appliances enhance the overall fan experience by integrating seamlessly into home entertainment setups.
As part of its partnership with FIFA, Hisense confirmed its role as the official and exclusive Video Assistant Referee (VAR) Review TV Provider for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In this capacity, the company has upgraded the display equipment in the FIFA World Cup Video Operation Room (VOR Room) with its RGB MiniLED televisions.
The upgraded VOR Room displays are designed to deliver ultra-high color gamut and precise color reproduction, allowing video assistant referees to view and authenticate live match footage with greater clarity and accuracy during critical game decisions.
Hisense unveiled the new 2026 RGB MiniLED TV range at a recent event held at the Home of FIFA in Zurich, where it also reaffirmed its longstanding sponsorship history, having first partnered with FIFA in 2018 and continuing through the 2022 tournament.
The company positions its latest innovations as bringing “stadium-grade sight and sound straight to your living room,” aiming to transform how audiences experience live football through advanced display and audio technologies.
Through this campaign, Hisense seeks to connect its technological advancements with the emotional resonance of global football, framing the World Cup not only as a sporting event but as a catalyst for next-generation home entertainment and smart living solutions.
