Gupta and Ishika were married in a court ceremony followed by a temple wedding in Bihar. The couple then celebrated with a grand reception. Though, Gupta claims his in-laws prevented Ishika from staying with him at night.”She would constantly ask for money for her parents, and I gave them lakhs to support them,” Gupta said. “One day, I was called to Siliguri by my in-laws under the pretense of taking Ishika to the doctor. when I returned, she had disappeared.”
Adding to the drama, a photo of Ishika with another man wearing garlands has gone viral. Gupta and his family confronted the other man at his residence in Kanki, West Bengal, leading to a heated altercation and police intervention at Ganga Babu Chowk.
Ishika’s mother vehemently denies the allegations, claiming that Gupta and Ishika were only engaged, not married. She insists the December 6th wedding ceremony was merely a formality.
gupta maintains that Ishika cheated another man nine months ago in Kanki, West Bengal. He claims to have given his in-laws a plot of land and over Rs 30 lakh, alleging they aided Ishika’s escape with the money.
