Yadav also dismissed Kumar’s recent pension hike as a mere imitation of an announcement made by the Mahagathbandhan coalition seven months prior. He asserted that the Mahagathbandhan government’s impending arrival is causing tension, leading the NDA to copy thier initiatives.
Criticizing the Nitish Kumar-led government’s developmental vision, Yadav stated that the chief minister is tired and lacks a plan to make Bihar a “Viksit Bihar” (Developed Bihar). He pledged to push the government to focus on establishing IT parks, special economic zones, industrial clusters, semiconductor factories, and other development projects.
Earlier in the day, Nitish Kumar announced a important increase in the state’s Social Security Pension Scheme, raising the monthly pension from 400 to 1,100 rupees for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and widows. The announcement comes before the Bihar assembly elections.
