Bill Burr’s latest stand-up special, “Drop Dead years,” has landed a pair of Emmy nominations, recognizing its excellence in variety Special (Pre-Recorded) and Editing for Variety Programming.Filmed in June 2024 at Seattle‘s historic Moore Theater, the special premiered on Hulu in March, marking Burr’s eighth hour-long stand-up offering and his first since releasing a double feature of “Friends Who Kill” and “Live at red Rocks” in 2022.

Looking ahead, Burr is set to direct and star in his second feature film, Born Losers, with filming scheduled for this fall.
