Binh Dinh Celebrates Reunification with Cultural and Sporting Events
QUY NHON, Vietnam (April 30, 2025) – Binh Dinh province is hosting a series of cultural, sporting, and tourism events to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification and International Labor Day. Festivities began Wednesday, April 30, and will continue through May 4.
Culinary Culture Festival
The highlight of the festivity is the 2nd Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Festival, which opened May 1 in Quy Nhon. The festival features 55 booths showcasing local and international cuisine.Participating vendors include culinary representatives from eight provinces, including Gia Lai and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as 23 restaurants and hotels from Binh Dinh. Dishes from Thailand, Korea and Japan are also featured.
According to event organizers, the festival aims to provide a vibrant atmosphere for both locals and tourists, with a range of culinary, artistic, and entertainment activities.
Artistic Performances
An artistic program celebrating 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art as reunification will be held May 4 at the Binh Dinh Provincial Congress Center. the program will feature musical works and a performance titled “The Heroic Spirit of tay Son,” combining a male choir and conventional martial arts.
The provincial theater of traditional arts will present excerpts from Tuong and Ca Kich Bai Choi, showcasing Binh Dinh’s cultural heritage.
