Bishop Dyer Hulk Hogan WWE Saudi Arabia Compliment

The wrestling world continues to mourn the loss of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, a true icon who played a pivotal role⁣ in ⁢bringing professional⁤ wrestling to a⁣ global audience. Hogan’s impact resonates deeply with generations of wrestlers, and ⁤many are sharing their memories and reflections.

Bishop Dyer, formerly known as Baron Corbin in WWE, recently appeared on “Busted⁣ Open Radio” to discuss his interactions with Hogan, specifically recalling a particularly meaningful compliment he ⁣received during a WWE show in Saudi Arabia.

Hogan’s Respect for In-Ring Safety

Dyer shared that Hogan consistently offered positive feedback, and for a‍ performer like himself, ⁤that meant a⁣ great deal. “They were⁢ always really good,” Dyer said. “I had a lot of great interactions. I think, for me, the biggest compliment you can get⁣ as a ⁣professional wrestler is ⁢if someone wants to work with you, and is of ⁣great magnitude in the confines of the ring ⁤like Hulk. And he always told me if he could ever get his hip right or his back right, you would ‍be a guy I’d want to get in the ring with, ⁢because I know⁤ you’re gonna keep me⁤ safe, I know you’re not gonna hurt me. And that ⁣was something I prided myself ⁤on.”

This wasn’t just casual praise; it was a testament to ⁤dyer’s professionalism and commitment to‍ in-ring safety. Hogan, a legend known for his own physicality, specifically ⁤highlighted Dyer’s ability to protect his opponents – a crucial quality ⁤in⁤ professional wrestling.

The Weight of ⁤a Legend’s Words

Dyer emphasized⁢ the significance of receiving such praise from a wrestling icon. He explained that encouragement always carries more weight⁤ when it ⁤comes from someone who has reached the pinnacle of the industry.

“To hear that from someone like him, that would put his ⁤life in my ‍hands in the confines of a‍ WWE ring, is pretty special to hear,” Dyer stated. It’s a powerful acknowledgement of the trust and respect Hogan had for Dyer’s abilities.

Trustworthiness and Unselfishness in WWE

During the podcast, Dyer also touched upon the qualities that⁣ contribute to success in WWE, highlighting the importance of trustworthiness among top stars. He noted that certain performers, like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, have achieved their success, in part, because of their unselfishness in the ring. You can read more about that here.
