Experience the World-Class Space Exhibition: SPACE JOURNEY BANGKOK

Geoinformatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, invites you to explore the world-class space exhibition, “SPACE JOURNEY BANGKOK”. This exhibition is a first of its kind in Asia and aims to inspire the future development of space technology in Thailand.

Exhibition Overview

SPACE JOURNEY BANGKOK Exhibition

The exhibition features 10 virtual exhibition rooms that showcase the past, present, and future of space exploration. With over 600 parts of real used spaceships and rare models from the United States, the Soviet Union, and others, this exhibition is a must-visit for space enthusiasts. The exhibition also includes 3D movies, an interactive universe zone, and a gyroscope.

Key Highlights

SPACE JOURNEY BANGKOK Highlights

  • The original components of the Saturn V Space Shuttle F1 engine, recovered from the bottom of the Pacific Ocean by Amazon owner Jeff Besos.
  • Original control panel of the Houston Mission Command Center, used by engineers to communicate with astronauts on the Apollo missions and early space shuttles.
  • 1:1 replica of the Apollo control module, equipped with period-correct controls for the entire duration of the flight.
  • Model of the Mars rover, the world’s most industrious robot, which worked for 5,498 days.
  • Model of lunar probe, which rescued astronauts from Apollo 15, 16, and 17 missions.
  • Russian lunar rover Lunokhod, sent to replace humans on the Luna spacecraft, controlled from a ground control center.
  • Collection of meteorites, including rocks from Mars, unique collectibles with a value per gram higher than gold.
