Last Sunday, delegations from Fire Departments across the region participated in a crucial activity focused on fighting forest fires.
The commune of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua sent a delegation of 27 firefighters from 5 companies to join the task force of 117 firefighters from the province. Together, they traveled to the commune of La Estrella to take part in a mobilization and forest fire fighting practice.
This exercise allowed firefighters to work on combat maneuvers with equipment, strengthening their operational capabilities when facing forest emergencies.
