Malayalam News: Israel Intensifies Attacks on Gaza Schools
Tensions are escalating in the West as Israel intensifies its attacks on Gaza schools. According to recent reports from Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on the verge of an all-out war with Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
The current Defense Minister, Yov Gallant, is in the process of being sacked due to his opposition to open war with Lebanon. Gallant had previously called for the signing of a cease-fire agreement and withdrawal from the border between Egypt and Gaza, the Philadelphia Corridor.
The Palestinian Ministry of Education reported that 17,224 students were injured, 113 students were killed, and 548 were injured in the West Bank. Israel has abducted 429 students from the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank. The bombardment of the occupying forces was against the Zaitoun school in Gaza City, where refugees live.
The attack resulted in the deaths of 22 Palestinians, including 13 children and six women. 30 people, including nine children, were injured. The total number of people killed in Gaza has reached 41,391, with 95,760 injured.
Israeli media reported that the attack on southern Lebanon was intensified in anticipation of a response from Hezbollah. A security committee meeting chaired by Netanyahu assessed the situation and advised maintaining maximum vigilance throughout the country.
Hezbollah confirmed that two of its top commanders, Ibrahim Akhil and Ahmed Mahmood Wahhabi, were killed in an Israeli attack on Bayreuth. The United States expressed concern over the Lebanon-Israel conflict and stated that the possibility of diplomatic moves to avoid a full-scale war was great.
Netanyahu is preparing to oust Israel’s current Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, and replace him with a right-wing leader named Gideon Saar. Gallant’s opposition to open war with Lebanon and his call for a cease-fire agreement have put him at odds with Netanyahu.
Netanyahu’s decision to intensify attacks on Gaza schools is seen as a desperate attempt to maintain his power and avoid resignation. The international community must intervene to prevent further escalation and protect the lives of innocent civilians.
