Guangzhou, China – – NetEase Games has launched a collaboration event in its mobile and PC battle royale, Blood Strike, bringing the world of the anime and manga BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War to the game. The event, live now through , introduces iconic characters, themed skins, and new gameplay elements inspired by the popular franchise.
The collaboration features characters including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Toshiro Hitsugaya, and Byakuya Kuchiki, allowing players to embody the power of the Soul Reapers within Blood Strike’s fast-paced combat environment. NetEase Games is positioning this as a key event for fans of both properties, blending the spirit of BLEACH with the intensity of the shooter.
Players can access a range of free rewards and limited-time items throughout the event period. Daily logins unlock rewards like the “ORV – BLEACH (Thousand-Year Blood War)” vehicle skin, while inviting friends grants access to the “Ethan – Byakuya Kuchiki” character skin and up to 500 in-game Gold (valued at $5). A free “Off-roader – BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War” vehicle skin is available to all players who log in during the event. From to , players can exchange earned tokens for additional collaboration items, including a Playpal skin and a parachute skin.
The collaboration extends to a variety of new skins and weapons. “Featured BLEACH I” (available – ) includes the MCX, M82, and Zanpakutou weapons styled after Tensa Zangetsu, alongside the ZERO – Ichigo Kurosaki skin and a corresponding Loot Crate. “Featured BLEACH II” (available – ) offers the QBZ95 and MP5 weapons themed around Hakka no Togame, the Zanpakutou – Sodenoshirayuki (Bankai), the RAN – Rukia Kuchiki skin, and a Parachute – Daiguren Hyorinmaru.
