According to ISPR, the security forces searched Khawarij’s hideout effectively. Meanwhile, in exchange of fire, 8 Khawarij were killed and 7 injured while Major Atif Khalil and Naik Azadullah, Ghazanfar Abbas of Pakistan Army were martyred. Major Shaheed Atif Khalil was 31 years old and lived in Azad Kashmir.
According to ISPR, among the two martyred youths was Naik Azadullah, 36 years old and a resident of Kirk district, while Lance Martyr Naik Ghazanfar Abbas was 35 years old and a resident of Leh district.
According to ISPR, a cleanliness drive is underway to eliminate any other outsiders in the area and the security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism.
Pakistan Army Spokesman says that such sacrifices by our brave soldiers strengthen our resolve.
On the other hand, in the Sambaza area of Zhob district in Balochistan, security forces conducted an operation on October 29 and 30 on secret information about the presence of Khawarij, during which one foreigner was killed and another injured in a fierce exchange of fire.
According to the ISPR, arms and ammunition were also recovered from Khawarij while a sanitation drive was conducted to neutralize any outsiders in the area.
