Victim Attacked While Exiting Vehicle in Miguel Hidalgo Office of the Mayor
Mexico City, September 13 – A man was murdered Thursday night in the Polanco neighborhood of the Miguel Hidalgo Office of the Mayor, prompting an investigation by capital authorities.
According to a report by the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) of Mexico City, the crime occurred on the street of Oliver Goldsmith and corner with Carlos Dickens, where authorities responded to a report of gunfire in the area.
Upon arrival, authorities found a man, approximately 50 years old, lying unconscious in the driver’s seat of a black van with visible bloodstains. Emergency services were requested to assist the victim, who was later pronounced dead due to gunshot wounds to the skull.

The SSC reported that the victim was attacked as he exited his vehicle, which was possibly armed. Two individuals approached the truck and shot the driver, then fled the scene on foot. Authorities are analyzing video surveillance footage to identify the perpetrators.

Mauricio Tabe, Mayor of Miguel Hidalgo, confirmed the facts of the case, stating that the images recorded by video surveillance cameras showed the two subjects approaching the victim as he exited his vehicle and shooting him.
