Game Updates Bring New Students, Events to "Blue Archive"
Nexon, led by co-CEOs Dae-Hyeon Kang and Jeong-Wook Kim, announced an exciting update to their cult-favorite game, "Blue Archive," on the 24th. This update introduces two new students, "Hoshino (Armed)" and "Sirocco*Terror."
"Hoshino," part of the ‘Abidos Countermezers Committee,’ joins with a unique weapons appearance. This mysterious type striker can change class before battle and uses ‘ex skill’ to move to a specified spot, boosting their shields. On the other hand, offensive class users gain massive damage to the enemy and their surroundings with their ‘ex skills.’
The update also includes the ‘Sirrocco’ from the ‘Abydos Task Force.’ When the mysterious type striker uses ‘Sirrocco*Terror’s ‘EX Skill,’ it sacrifices 20% of its maximum health to summon a drone for 40 seconds. This drone inflicts substantial damage on nearby enemies.
Players can now immerse themselves in the new event story, "Sheside Out," happening at the ‘Arias Squad’ center. They’ll follow ‘Saori’ and the ‘Arias Squad’ as they take on roles as festival escorts on the beach. Complete the event’s story to get a ‘game booth pass,’ granting access to special mini-games.
Celebrating this update, Nexon is hosting a variety of events to help new users grow:
-
Triple Campaign: Players can earn multiple rewards from various missions and special requests. This event lasts until the 18th of next month at 11:59 PM.
- Free Recruitment Events: Players can unlock different types of new students until the 8th of next month. Daily logins grant 10 or 20 free recruits.
