blue Origin Sends First New Zealander to Space on New Shepard Flight

Blue Origin,Jeff Bezos’ spaceflight company,successfully launched six individuals into suborbital space aboard the RSS First Step. The New Shepard capsule marked the company’s 12th human spaceflight and the 32nd flight of the New Shepard program.
Among the crew was Mark Rocket,CEO of kea Aerospace,who became the first New Zealander to achieve spaceflight. Rocket previously worked with Rocket Lab, a space launch competitor. The mission reached beyond the Kármán line, the internationally recognized boundary of space, located 62 miles (100 kilometers) above Earth.
joining rocket were Jaime Alemán, Jesse Williams, Paul Jeris, Gretchen Green, and Amy Medina jorge.Alemán, an attorney from Panama, now holds the distinction of being the first person to visit all 193 United Nations-recognized countries, both poles, and space. Williams, an entrepreneur from Canada, added spaceflight to his list of high-altitude achievements, which includes summiting Mount Everest and five other of the world’s highest peaks. The Blue Origin flight provided the crew with approximately three minutes of weightlessness and a unique view of Earth.
