On September 17, the decentralized SNS “Bluesky” announced that its user base has surpassed 10 million. The app has grown to this point in about a year and a half since it was launched in January 2023.
When you update the app to version 1.91.1 or reload the web version, you will see the number of users you belong to along with the message.

Bluesky is a decentralized SNS invented and created by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey and others. The app was released for Android and iOS in January 2023 and was initially invite-only. In February 2024, invites were abolished and the number of users suddenly increased, surpassing 5 million on February 11 and 10 million on September 17, 57 months later.
