Cosmic Dino, an animation ⁤studio based in Brisbane,​ Australia, has ​significantly ⁢expanded​ its facilities. The move ⁣comes as the studio takes on larger ⁣feature projects, including work on the highly anticipated ‘Bluey’ movie.

The new facility spans 1,500 square ⁣meters and includes a 40-seat 4K+ HDR cinema, edit suites, and an ​open-plan‍ office designed ⁣to foster collaboration. This expansion allows Cosmic Dino ‍to offer comprehensive CG animation services, from initial ​concept to final lighting, tailored to‍ various budgets and storytelling goals.

Currently, cosmic Dino is providing end-to-end animation services for ‌the ‘Bluey’ movie, slated for release in 2027. The film is based on ⁤the popular series ​created by Joe Brumm and ‌produced by Ludo Studio, BBC Studios, and The Walt Disney Company. While details of the project ⁤remain confidential, this ‌collaboration ⁢represents a major achievement for the studio.

Founded by‌ Ricard ⁢Cussó and Ryan Greaves, Cosmic Dino has quickly gained recognition for ‌its agile production methods and creator-focused approach. The studio’s recent projects include the CG feature ‘Scarygirl,’ which received four AACTA Award nominations,‌ and the ⁤’Tales from Sanctuary⁣ City’ franchise. Their adaptation of ‘The Pout-Pout Fish’ is scheduled for theatrical ⁤release later in⁤ 2025.
