Cosmic Dino Expands Animation capabilities for ‘bluey’ Movie

Cosmic Dino, an animation studio based in Brisbane, Australia, has significantly expanded its facilities. The move comes as the studio takes on larger feature projects, including work on the highly anticipated ‘Bluey’ movie.
The new facility spans 1,500 square meters and includes a 40-seat 4K+ HDR cinema, edit suites, and an open-plan office designed to foster collaboration. This expansion allows Cosmic Dino to offer comprehensive CG animation services, from initial concept to final lighting, tailored to various budgets and storytelling goals.
Currently, cosmic Dino is providing end-to-end animation services for the ‘Bluey’ movie, slated for release in 2027. The film is based on the popular series created by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio, BBC Studios, and The Walt Disney Company. While details of the project remain confidential, this collaboration represents a major achievement for the studio.
Along with its work on ‘Bluey’, Cosmic Dino has partnered with Fourth Wall Animation and UTA, two U.S.-based agencies, to broaden its international reach.

Founded by Ricard Cussó and Ryan Greaves, Cosmic Dino has quickly gained recognition for its agile production methods and creator-focused approach.
