Bob Bryar, My Chemical Romance Drummer, Dies at 44 – Remembering His Legacy
Bob Bryar, former drummer for My Chemical Romance, has died at age 44. The band released a statement asking for privacy as they process his passing. No cause of death has been shared.
My Chemical Romance formed in New Jersey in the early 2000s. They plan to tour next year, but Bryar is not part of the current lineup. He played with the band from 2004 to 2010 and contributed to their successful album “The Black Parade.”
In mid-2022, My Chemical Romance released new music for the first time since 2014. The band split in 2013, reuniting for a show in 2019 in Los Angeles.
