Bob Saget’s final project, a documentary titled Who Is Martin Mull?, is slated to debut on Netflix on October 7, according to reporting from AOL. The late comedian co-directed and executive produced the feature about the late painter and musician, marking a posthumous release more than four years after Saget’s death at age 65 in 2022 from accidental head trauma caused by an unwitnessed fall during a stand-up tour. Saget began working on the documentary about the cult comedian back in 2018. Following Saget’s unexpected death, co-director Neil Berkeley stepped in to complete the film.

Berkeley also co-directed another project in the lineup alongside Judd Apatow titled Paralyzed by Hope: The Maria Bamford Story, which is scheduled to premiere on October 23. That film traces stand-up comedian and actor Maria Bamford’s path and mental health journey from her childhood in Duluth, Minnesota, to her success in Los Angeles. Additionally, Apatow directed Norm: The Tale of Norm Macdonald, built from archival footage, home videos, and personal photos to let the late comedian tell his own story, set for an October 16 release. Rounding out the October releases on October 30 is SCTV: The Greatest Show You’Ve Never Heard Of, which stars Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy and follows the history of the sketch comedy series.
