BISMARCK, N.D. — Roberta “Bobbie” Bader, a longtime North Dakota resident known for her kindness and free-spirited nature, died on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Altru Hospital in Devils Lake. She was 80 years old.
Bader was born on November 9, 1945, in Mandan, North Dakota, to Edgar and Lentina Muhlhauser. According to her obituary, published by Eastgate Funeral & Cremation Services, she spent the last four years of her life living in Bismarck with her youngest daughter, Heather. Following the death of her husband in October 2023, Bader moved to Devils Lake in January 2025 to receive more extensive elder care.

The service will take place from 11:00 a.m. To 12:00 p.m. Central Time. Following the service, a burial will occur at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
