Body of Missing St. Louis Woman Recovered in Olympic National Park

PORT ANGELES, Wash. — The body of Alleacya Boulia, 26, of St. Louis, Missouri, was recovered in Olympic National Park on February 6, 2026, after being missing since November 2025. The recovery followed a search effort involving more than 41 personnel and five K-9 teams, focused on the area near the Sol Duc Trailhead.

Boulia traveled to Washington state for a short vacation, initially planning a trip from November 6 to November 10, but later extended her stay. She was last seen on November 17, 2025, in Port Angeles, Washington, shopping at Walmart, according to investigators. Her rental car, a 2025 black Ford Bronco Sport, was subsequently found parked at the Sol Duc Trailhead.

The case began to raise concerns when Boulia failed to contact her family around Thanksgiving, an unusual occurrence, according to her mother, April Boulia. After checking her daughter’s phone and bank records, April discovered all activity had ceased. She reported Alleacya missing on November 27, 2025.

Investigators examining the rental car discovered camping gear and Subway sandwiches stuffed in the trunk, along with a Walmart receipt. April Boulia noted some items found inside the vehicle were suspicious, including a maintenance worker’s checklist and pool tools, which she stated did not belong to her daughter. The receipt also showed duplicate purchases – two ponchos, two pairs of safety glasses, and two pairs of heated gloves.

The search for Boulia was featured in Dateline’s Missing in America series in December 2025. During an interview with Dateline, April Boulia shared that her daughter texted her on November 18, 2025, stating she was safe and expressing her love. This was the last time April heard directly from her daughter.

Family members, including April and Asanti Boulia, were present during the search that culminated in the recovery of Alleacya’s body. Officials stated the body was airlifted from the remote location to be returned to the family.

A family member described the discovery as “spiritually guided,” believing divine intervention played a role in locating Boulia. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the circumstances surrounding her death, nor have they indicated whether foul play is suspected.

The National Park Service Investigative Services Branch took over the investigation after it was initially handled by the Port Angeles Police Department. Updates will be shared through a GoFundMe page and future public statements, according to the family.
