The 777X family includes the 777-8 and 777-9 variants.
Impact of the 2024 Strike
The 2024 strike by machinists at Boeing facilities substantially disrupted production and deliveries. The strike, which lasted for several weeks, stemmed from disagreements over wages, benefits, and job security.
