Following a catastrophic air India crash this week that claimed at least 270 lives, the Indian government is‍ conducting urgent inspections of all Boeing 787 aircraft. Aviation‍ Minister Ram Mohan Naidu announced ⁣the directive Saturday, stating that authorities ​are exploring every potential cause of the accident. the aviation ​regulator had already instructed Air India ‍on Friday to ⁢perform additional maintenance ⁢checks on its Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 planes, specifically those equipped with GEnx engines.
