Health Status of Egyptian National Team Players
Hend Awad reported that the Egyptian Football Association released an official statement detailing the health status of the national team players injured during the match against Cape Verde, including Mustafa Mohamed, Omar Marmoush, Rami Rabia, and Mohamed Hamdi.
According to the federation’s statement, X-rays revealed that Mustafa Mohamed sustained a posterior muscle injury. Omar Marmoush suffered a sprained external knee ligament, and the technical director, Hossam Hasan, decided to sideline the duo due to their inability to participate in the upcoming match against Botswana.
Team doctor Mohamed Abu Al-Ela stated that Rami Rabia and Mohamed Hamdi both experienced muscle strain but are expected to be ready for the scheduled match against Botswana on Tuesday.
