Bombshell Revelation: Peevski’s Immunity Under Fire Amidst Damning New Evidence
New Evidence Emerges Against Delyan Peevski
Tsvetan Vassilev, the former majority owner of the bankrupt KTB, has sent a letter containing new data on the crimes of Delyan Peevski, who was sanctioned under the global “Magnitsky” law.
The letter, received by “Yes, Bulgaria,” details Peevski’s alleged criminal actions and is expected to be reviewed by the National Assembly.
“The statement includes data about Peevski’s involvement with KTB and Tsvetan Vassilev’s associates,” said Ivaylo Mirchev, “It is a lengthy statement with many facts.”
Mirchev announced that the PP-DB will request a hearing from Vassilev and the heads of the services to explain what steps were taken in relation to Peevski.
“The information analyzed is sufficient for Peevski to be held accountable, which means that the Attorney General should ask for his immunity,” Mirchev added, “We will vote to lift Peevski’s immunity if the chief prosecutor asks for it.”
A possible vote to remove Peevski’s immunity could happen within the next week or two, and will indicate if there are enough deputies to make this decision.
“Everyone invited to speak on the issue in parliament will do so because they are required by law,” said Mirchev, “There is clear evidence, a person ready to testify, and we expect everyone to step up.”
Vassilev’s letter contains new information, including testimony from one of Peevski’s associates.
“Yes, Bulgaria” received the letter because it is the political force that has been following actions against Delyan Peevski from the beginning,” said Mirchev, “We have always behaved consistently in relation to Peevski.”
“DPS-Dogan must admit that Peevski was created next to Dogan,” Mirchev noted, “They have enough information about Peevski’s actions and connections.”
