The Bond University QAFLW Coaches MVP Award voting system has been confirmed to operate on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis from ten coaching panels after each home and away game, with a maximum of ten votes available to any single player per match.

This structure was verified through official match reports from Round 2 of the 2025 Bond University QAFLW Premiership, where multiple players achieved perfect scores by receiving the maximum ten votes from all participating coaching panels.

In the Bond University versus Moreton Bay match, Shannon Nolan and Kendra Blattman each received nine votes, falling just short of a perfect score, while several other players across different fixtures recorded the full ten-vote maximum.

The award system is designed to recognize standout individual performances in the Queensland Australian Football League Women’s (QAFLW) competition, with voting conducted exclusively by senior coaches from the teams involved in each game.

Perfect vote tallies in Round 2 were achieved by Harriet Knijff, Gabi Simpson, and Farradai Hopkins from the University of Queensland, Laura Roy, Lucy McCormick, and Isabella Levine from Morningside, and Kierra Zerafa and Olivia Meagher from Southport, each receiving the maximum ten votes from the coaching panels in their respective matches.

These results highlight the consistency and dominance of certain players during the early stage of the 2025 season, with multiple athletes earning unanimous recognition from all ten coaching panels for their performances in individual games.

The Coaches MVP Award contributes to the broader recognition framework within QAFLW, complementing end-of-season honors such as the Emma Zielke Medal, which is awarded to the league’s best and fairest player.

As the competition progresses, these weekly MVP votes will continue to track player form and contribution, providing a transparent metric for evaluating individual impact across the Bond University QAFLW fixture.
