French comedian Jarry is set to perform his one-man show “Bonhomme” at Place To’ata in Papeete, Tahiti on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 7:30 PM. The performance marks Jarry’s first appearance at the venue, following previous successful shows in French Polynesia in 2018 and 2022.

The show, which Jarry launched in October 2023, has been described as “encore plus fou” (even crazier) than his previous work. Sonia Aline Productions, which is presenting the Tahiti engagement alongside Radio 1 and Tiare FM, characterizes the performance as a celebration of laughter’s unifying power in challenging times.

Jarry, a French humorist and comedian, has built his reputation through a distinctive comedic style. His first one-man-show, “Atypique,” ran from 2013 to 2019 with over 500 performances and 200,000 spectators. His second show, “Titre” (2019), attracted more than 260,000 viewers and was later distributed on Prime Video.

The May 7, 2026 performance at Place To’ata represents a milestone in Jarry’s relationship with Tahiti, as it will be his first time performing at this specific venue despite his prior appearances on the island. Tickets for the show are available from 5,500 CFP francs for adults, with payment options including bank/credit card, cash, and online payment.

The engagement is part of a broader tour that has included over 150 performances of “Bonhomme” since its launch. Following the Tahiti show, Jarry is scheduled to perform in New Caledonia the week after his May 7 appearance in Papeete.
