Plot: Brenda Blethyn stars as Emma Harte, a housemaid who becomes a mogul.Jessica Reynolds plays the younger Emma, with Emmett J Scanlan, Leanne Best, Will Mellor, and Lenny rush also in the cast. The series tells a rags-to-riches story based on the 1979 bestseller. Blethyn said she considers it an “unmissable prospect to play the fierce Emma Harte.”
Frankenstein, Netflix
Novel: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
Plot: Guillermo del Toro is adapting the classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a scientist who creates a monster. The film,due in November,stars Oscar Isaac as Victor,Jacob Elordi as the monster,and Mia Goth as Elizabeth Lavenza. David bradley, charles Dance, and Ralph Ineson also appear.
