Woori Bank Temporarily Raises Interest Rate on Non-Face-to-Face Time Deposits

Woori Bank has announced a temporary increase in the interest rate on its non-face-to-face time deposit product, ’WON Plus Deposit,’ from September 26th to October 10th. This move is part of the bank’s celebration of the 5th anniversary of its mobile application, ‘Woori WON Banking.’
The interest rate adjustments include a 3-month maturity WON Plus deposit rate increase from 3.37% to 3.47% per annum. The 6-month maturity rate will be adjusted from 3.42% to 3.52% per annum, and the 12-month maturity rate will be adjusted from 3.37% to 3.50% per annum.
Woori Bank Partners with Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Corporation for Social Contribution Project
Woori Bank has signed a business agreement with Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Corporation (GH) to jointly promote a social contribution cooperation project. The project aims to support vulnerable groups in Gyeonggi Province.
The agreement was signed on September 24th, with key officials from both organizations in attendance. Woori Bank will provide a total of KRW 3.6 billion to social contribution projects encompassing multicultural families, youth, and the elderly over the next four years.
A Woori Bank official stated, “We will smoothly promote support projects for vulnerable groups by strengthening our network with Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility through active social contribution activities in the future.”

The Jeonnam Headquarters supports comprehensive asset management services through the Jeonnam Sales Department, Suncheon City Branch, and Yeosu Financial Center, in addition to the Suncheon Financial Center.
