A recent health outreach initiative by the XVI sanitary Region – Boquerón significantly improved healthcare access for residents of the Rainbow community, a remote area serving indigenous populations.The effort, conducted with support from regional technical teams and various family health units, underscores a commitment to proactive and equitable healthcare delivery within the Chaco region.
Extensive Services Delivered On-Site
The outreach event provided a wide range of essential medical services directly to community members. Services included pediatric and adult medical consultations, preventative dental check-ups, and crucial diagnostic screenings such as obstetric, abdominal, and gynecological ultrasounds. Additionally, rapid Chagas disease testing and blood glucose (glycemia) monitoring were offered, addressing prevalent health concerns in the area.
