Banja Luka Borac Strengthens Attack with Two New Signings
Banja Luka Borac has bolstered its attacking line with the signings of Đorđe Despotović and Gregor Bajde, who have joined the team on the final day of the transfer window.
Đorđe Despotović Brings International Experience
Đorđe Despotović, who has previously played for Budućnosti from Podgorica and Crvena zvezda, brings a wealth of international experience to the team. He has also been invited to the senior national team of Serbia.
Gregor Bajde Joins from Slovenia
Gregor Bajde, who has spent most of his career in Slovenia, has also defended the colors of the Italian Novara. His addition to the team is expected to strengthen the attacking line.
Sports Director Oliver Jandric on the New Signings
“Despotović and Bajde are new footballers for our club and they come to strengthen the team’s attacking line. The contracts have been signed, all the paperwork has been completed and they will be able to play in the Conference League group stage. I am pleased that we have reached an agreement and I am confident that he will bring more quality to our team. With these reinforcements, we attack the ‘double crown’ and want another success in Europe. These are our goals and we will do our best to achieve them,” said Oliver Jandric, sports director of Banja Luka.
Four New Players Join the Team
During the last day of the transfer window for the European stage, four footballers arrived in Platonovo, and at the beginning of the week, Boban Nikolov also signed the contract.
Oliver Jandric on the Team’s Preparation
“A stormy day is behind us, but we managed to implement what we envisioned. I believe that with the arrival of these five players at the end of the transfer window, we have created a team that is fully prepared to face challenges in all areas. We now have quality players in every position, and healthy competition only increases the team’s motivation for even better work,” said Jandrić.
Team Returns to Training
Borca’s players were given three days off to “recharge their batteries” before the resumption of the season. On Friday, the team returns to full training with all the newly arrived players.
