Irish energy provider Bord Gáis Energy has announced a gender pay gap ‍in favor of women, ⁤marking a notable milestone in its diversity and ​inclusion efforts.

The company’s 2024 Gender Pay Gap Report reveals a -2% median gender pay gap in favor of women,with a mean gender pay gap of ⁢-1.7% also favoring women. This achievement is attributed to a surge in the number of women in senior management roles.

Bord ⁢Gáis Energy exceeded its 2022 goal of having at least 40% ⁤women in senior roles, ​with ⁢women now holding 44% of these positions. The executive team boasts an impressive 60% female representation.
