AFC Bournemouth has secured the services of French left-back adrian Truffert from Rennes for a reported fee of £14 million. Truffert, 23, is expected to play a notable role for the Cherries, filling the void left by Milos Kerkez.Kerkez, a Hungarian international, is reportedly nearing a transfer to Liverpool after weeks of negotiations.
Truffert’s contract extends until June 2030. Rennes will receive £11 million initially, with an additional £3 million in performance-related add-ons. During his time with the Ligue 1 club, Truffert made 191 appearances and scored nine goals.
