Bow Wow, known as Mr. 106 & Park,responded to fan inquiries regarding Ciara’s absence during his performance at the 2025 BET Awards. The rapper took the stage to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic music video countdown show, ”106 & Park,” performing hits like “Fresh Az im Iz” and “Like You.”
Many viewers expressed disappointment that Ciara, who is featured on “Like You,” did not join him onstage for the 106 & park reunion. The BET Awards performance was a highlight,but her absence sparked conversation among fans of the Bow Wow and Ciara collaboration.
The 38-year-old rapper explained that he was unaware Ciara was even in attendance at the BET Awards. He added that BET was responsible for coordinating talent for the show. Bow Wow said he spent most of the day in his trailer until it was time to host the red carpet pre-show.
“It would have been a splendid moment if she did come out,” Bow Wow said. “I didn’t know she was in attendance. I didn’t know until I got off the stage, ran back to my trailer, and checked Twitter.”
