For three decades, alain Zouvi has dubbed Brad Pitt’s role in Quebec’s French-language versions of his movies. Recently, the actor received an endorsement from the American star himself. “He agrees that I put my voice on his body! It’s pretty extraordinary, really,” Zouvi said.
Zouvi, active on TikTok, shared an anecdote about voicing Brad Pitt since the 1995 film “Seven.” After dubbing “Wolfs,” an Apple TV+ production released last year, Zouvi contacted Pitt through his agent. “I wrote to him to congratulate him on his work. I told him that I admired him, that I thought he was very good, and that I had been doing his voice for about 30 years.”

Some time later, Difuze studio, where the dubbing takes place, received an email from Pitt. The actor asked for French-dubbed clips of his films with Zouvi’s voice. After they were sent, the studio received another message from Pitt.
“He said: ‘That’s the guy!’ So,I have his approval. He agrees that I put my voice on his body! It’s pretty extraordinary, really,” Zouvi said.
