Bradley Walsh, host of ITV’s “The Chase,” was visibly surprised when a contestant admitted to previously appearing on the BBC quiz show ”Pointless.” The revelation came during an episode featuring contestants Fiona, Becky, Derek, and Amitabh, all vying to outsmart Mark Labbett, also known as The Beast.
Amitabh, originally from Delhi, India, was the first to face The Beast. Despite having lived in the UK for only five years, he accumulated £6,000 in the Cash Builder round.Walsh praised his performance, saying, “For a dude that’s only been in the contry for five years you played an absolute blinder.” However, Amitabh was eventually caught by The Chaser, leaving with nothing.
