Brandi Leann Tyrrell Charged With Multiple Counts of Animal Cruelty

Brandi Leann Tyrrell, 41, faces multiple felony charges including first-degree cruelty to a cat and animal cruelty after authorities discovered dead cats and abandoned animals inside a Dothan grooming business, according to local law enforcement reports.

The investigation stems from an animal welfare check conducted at a commercial property operating as a pet grooming establishment in Dothan. Responding officers and animal services personnel found several animals left unattended inside the facility, alongside deceased cats. Local authorities subsequently secured warrants for the business owner, establishing an active search for her arrest.

Charges Filed by Dothan Police

According to court records and police filings detailed by WTVY News4, Tyrrell has been formally charged with two felony counts of first-degree cruelty to a cat. Investigators also filed six additional misdemeanor or related counts of animal cruelty stemming from the conditions discovered inside the property.
