O chef Abner Ivan, eleito o melhor chocolatier da América Latina no World Chocolate Masters, foi impedido de entrar em Portugal e deportado para o Brasil neste sábado (17/01). Ele chegou ao país, pelo terceiro ano consecutivo, a convite da Câmara Municipal de Óbidos, que todos os anos realiza um dos maiores festivais de chocolate do mundo.
O evento é apenas em março, mas o brasileiro costuma chegar com antecedência para trabalhar nas esculturas que fazem parte da magia do festival, que já recebeu nomes como Jordi Roca, do aclamado el Celer Can Roca.
As informações preliminares dão conta que Abner e a esposa Natália Marinho, que trabalha com ele, chegaram na última sexta (16/01) no Aeroporto Humberto Delgado, mas foram impedidos de entrar em território luso sob alegação da falta de um documento.
A documentação apresentada pelo casal, como antecipou a RTP, teria sido a mesma que eles haviam utilizado para entrar em Portugal nas outras vezes em que veio produzir as esculturas para o festival Óbidos.
