The Gyeongbuk Provincial Health and Environment Research Institute has been certified as an excellent analysis institute after receiving an ‘appropriate’ rating in both fields in the 2024 proficiency evaluation of odor and indoor air quality conducted by the National Institute of Environmental Research.
The research center achieved ‘appropriate’ evaluations for all 13 items, including 6 items in the odor category and 7 items in the indoor air quality category, maintaining the highest level of analysis accuracy and reliability for 19 consecutive years since 2006.
The proficiency test is an annual evaluation conducted by the National Institute of Environmental Research to assess the accuracy of analysis results and analysis capabilities of provincial and municipal health and environmental research institutes, national and public research institutes, and measurement and analysis institutes.
