Leadership Change at INSEED: Mr. Tchiou Animaou Takes the Helm
As of August 23, 2024, Mr. Tchiou Animaou has been appointed as the interim Director General of the National Institute of Statistics and Economic and Demographic Studies (INSEED), following the retirement of the previous director general, Mr. Kuassi.
The decision was made in a decree consulted by our editorial staff, which was taken in the council of ministers. According to the decree, Mr. Kuassi’s appointment as Director General of INSEED, as stated in Decree No. 2018-008/PR of January 10, 2018, is hereby revoked.
INSEED, established in 1960, plays a crucial role in collecting and analyzing the country’s statistical data. The organization’s mission is to provide reliable statistics and detailed analysis to support national and international decision-making.
