Yongin Suji District Public Health Center Establishes Asthma Emergency Response System

The Suji District Public Health Center in Yongin Special City has announced plans ⁤to distribute⁤ training, manuals, and emergency ⁢kits to ‌local educational institutions to establish an ‘asthma emergency response system’.

The public health center aims to provide ⁣education and supplies to daycare centers, kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools to help them prepare for ⁤emergency situations such‌ as asthma attacks and anaphylaxis (allergic shock).

The ‌training‌ program will cover essential topics, including:

• Establishing an emergency communication ​system
• Providing and using an asthma⁢ emergency kit
• Responding to anaphylaxis emergencies
• Education on​ using emergency ⁣medication

The⁤ asthma⁢ emergency kit ‍provided consists of:

• A symptom reliever (Ventolin)
• An emergency response ​manual
• An inhalation aid (spacer)
• A bag

The public health center will inspect ​the status of emergency kits, replace them if necessary, ​and receive applications for distribution of new kits upon request.
