Breitling has released a new version of its Navitimer chronograph, the Cosmonaute, honoring astronaut Scott Carpenter. This special edition stands out with its distinctive 24-hour display.
Unlike standard watches, the Cosmonaute’s hour hand completes one rotation per day. This feature was crucial for Carpenter during his Mercury-atlas 7 mission. Orbiting Earth, he experienced sunrises and sunsets every 90 minutes, making time perception challenging.

the new Cosmonaute features a deep blue dial with contrasting white chronograph sub-dials and Arabic numeral markers. The in-house, COSC-certified Breitling B02 calibre powers the watch, offering a 70-hour power reserve and a full chronograph function.
