Brentford has named Keith Andrews as its new head coach, following Thomas Frank’s departure to Tottenham hotspur earlier in June. Andrews, previously a set-piece coach for the Bees, secured the managerial role after what officials described as an extensive search. His contract extends through June 2028.
This promotion mirrors Brentford’s past strategy. Frank himself rose from assistant head coach after Dean Smith’s exit in October 2018. Andrews acknowledged the significance of his new role and the legacy he inherits.
“I’m honored to take the club into the next chapter,” Andrews said. “I’m very appreciative of the owner, the board and the staff that have supported this decision.
