Milwaukee – Jacob Misiorowski’s highly anticipated major league debut for the Milwaukee Brewers ended prematurely Thursday night when he slipped on the mound. the incident occurred after he’d held the st. Louis Cardinals hitless through five innings. The Brewers went on to win 6-0.
Misiorowski, a top pitching prospect, was facing Victor Scott to begin the sixth inning when his foot slipped awkwardly after a pitch. Brewers medical staff evaluated Misiorowski, who then left the game. Nick Mears replaced him.
