Brian Wilson, the driving force behind the Beach Boys and a key figure in shaping California rock, has died at age 82. Wilson’s family announced his death, expressing their heartbreak and requesting privacy.
Wilson’s impact on popular music is immense. As the leader of the Beach Boys, he crafted a signature sound filled with harmonies and sunny melodies, achieving massive success. The Beach Boys scored three No. 1 hits: “I Get Around,” ”Help Me, Rhonda,” and “Good Vibrations.”
